Daly Recruitment is recruiting a Conference and Banqueting Manager, for our client one of Ireland’s most luxurious 5* hotels. We are seeking a enthusiastic and engaging Conference and Banqueting Manager to join the team and lead the Events team forward. Set in stunning surroundings the luxury property has a strong wedding operation with leisure and corporate events also a huge part of the operation.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Will have previous experience overseeing or managing events and/or conferences
  • Have experience and  knowledge of the hotel sector, and hold previous experience of working within an establishment of a high standard – 4* or above.
  • Show a strong attention to detail, be driven and have a focused attitude at all times
  • Hold excellent communication skills for management of staff and customers.
  • Have the ability to effectively manage staff during events or banquets, and be a team player.
  • Have a warm and friendly personality, and smart appearance
  • Hold excellent awareness of operational costs and profit/sales opportunities
  • Adhere and ensure the team delivers high standards at all times.
  • Have understanding of the financials at HOD level .
