Daly Recruitment is recruiting a Sales & Marketing Manager for a prestigious luxury hotel located in County Monaghan. This role places a significant emphasis on digital marketing, ideal for a candidate with expertise in online strategies to promote a high-end property.

Role Overview:
As Sales & Marketing Manager you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative sales and online marketing strategies to maximise revenue across multiple key areas, including accommodation, weddings, events, dining, equestrian, and leisure experiences. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for hospitality, and will have a proven track record in sales and marketing within the luxury hospitality sector.

Reporting into:  Director of Sales & Marketing (DOSM)


Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue across all key revenue streams, including accommodation, weddings, MICE, equestrian, and leisure experiences.
  • Identify new business opportunities and forge long-term relationships with clients, partners, and potential customers.
  • Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitors, adjusting strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Represent the estate through sales calls, site inspections, networking events, workshops, and FAM trips.

Marketing & Brand Strategy:

  • Strengthen the Castle Leslie Estate brand identity, ensuring consistency and alignment across all marketing materials and communications.
  • Collaborate closely with external agencies, photographers, and designers to produce compelling promotional content that reflects the luxury and uniqueness of the estate.
  • Manage the estate’s website, ensuring an optimal user experience, timely content updates, and seamless functionality.
  • Implement digital marketing strategies, including social media, to promote offers and enhance ROI through the estate’s website. Regularly monitor performance and collaborate with third-party partners and internal stakeholders to improve results.
  • Partner with the DOSM to drive the overall marketing strategy and digital direction for the estate. Take ownership of ad hoc projects as required.

Revenue & Performance Management:

  • Work closely with the Rooms Division Manager and Reservations Team to optimise pricing strategies, occupancy rates, and revenue generation across all departments.
  • Monitor customer feedback and market insights, adapting marketing strategies to improve guest experience and increase sales.
  • Analyse key performance metrics, including occupancy and revenue growth, to ensure targets are met and exceeded.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior sales and marketing role within the luxury hospitality, tourism, or events sector.
  • Candidates must hold a third-level qualification or equivalent in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing, CRM systems, and revenue management tools.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing sales strategies that result in measurable revenue growth.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
  • A passion for luxury hospitality and a deep commitment to creating meaningful and memorable experiences for guests and clients.
  • Full clean driving license and own car required.
  • Indate passport will be required for business travel to attend oversee’s travel trade shows as required.

Salary Package (as above) + : 

  • Full-time, permanent role (6-month probation period).
  • Hybrid work schedule: 4 days remote, 1 day on-site (flexibility required depending on business needs). e.g. weeks may vary from 3 days remote to 2 days on site).
