Sales Executive

Daly Recruitment is currently recruiting for a passionate Sales Executive to join a luxury hotel based in Monaghan. We are seeking a candidate who is people focused, who can work with clients on show rounds and assisting the Sales Manager. the successful candidate will receive full in house training. This role is perfect for anyone wishing to step away from reception, restaurant etc this is an exceptional opportunity for an individual to enter the world of sales within the luxury hotel market.

This is a reactive sales role, therefore good people skills is essential to the successful appointment of this role.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Ensure a friendly and pleasant environment for all guests and employees.
• Be able to promote and be confident with all facilities offered in the hotel.
• Knowledgeable about property and offerings
• Coordinate and assist with site inspections, client events and FAM trips.
• Responsible for acknowledging sales leads and working with the Sales Manager to ensure enquiries are followed up.
• Research competitor business.
• Manage monthly Opera Audits and present individual sales.
• Be able to present quotations to guest including wedding/ corporate etc
• Assist the sales team with all office sales efforts, to include responding/assigning general enquiries and coordinating client requests.

The ideal Sales Executive candidate would be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

• Previous experience of working in the hospitality sector.
• Excellent command of the English language both written and verbal is essential.
• Great knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point) is required.
• Excellent communication, time and project management skills are essential.
• Ability to work on own initiative is essential.
