Daly Recruitment are partnering with one of Ireland’s most luxurious hotels to appoint a Spa Manager in the Co. Monaghan area. The location of this position would suit candidates either north or south of the border, however all candidates must have the right to in the EU. 

As Spa Manager you will oversee the Spa Therapists and will lend support when needed.  As Spa Manager will lead the day to day operations of the department and oversee all spa operations, whilst maintaining the serenity of the Spa and relaxation area. Our client is seeking a manager who is professional and confident in handling guests and managing a team.

  • Responsible for training all new front desk staff, and spa attendants and ensuring all job requirements and standards are met.
  • Co-ordinate and market spa services and offers.
  • Train staff in the use or sale of products, treatments, or services.
  • Develop staff service or retail goals and guide staff in Commission achievement.
  • Coordinate the daily schedules to maximise usage and efficiency.
  • Effectively resolve customer complaints and communicate with the General Manager regarding issues and resolutions.
  • Coach and evaluate the spa team’s performance by assessing employee performance and suggest ways to improve work.
  • Inform staff of job responsibilities, performance expectations, client service standards, or Hotel policies and guidelines
  • Check monthly inventory and assist in ordering new supplies when needed.
  • Maintain retail area and check retail stock daily.
  • Strong retail skills.
  • Ensure all spa equipment is in proper working order.
  • Ensure cleanliness of all Spa areas.
  • Will be required to perform spa services when needed.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
  • Must complete and keep updated in First Aid Training.
  • Ensure all health and safety legislation is adhered to at all times.


Candidates must have previous experience in similar situation.

  • Demonstrate proficiency with computers.
  • Excellent oral and communication skills.

  • Previous people management experience.
