Daly Recruitment is exclusively recruiting a Bar & Lounge Manager to join the management team of a leading luxury hotel in County Monaghan.

Reporting to the Hotel Operations Manager, the Bar & Lounge Manager will take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the hotel’s bar and lounge areas, including the main bar and function bars. The successful candidate will ensure exceptional service, high operational standards and a memorable guest experience at all times.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the daily operation of the bar and lounge areas, ensuring a smooth and efficient service.
• Manage departmental budgets, costs and performance targets.
• Lead, motivate and develop the bar team to consistently achieve departmental goals.
• Deliver and promote exceptional customer service across all outlets.
• Plan and implement training in line with hotel procedures and policies.
• Work closely with other Heads of Department to introduce new ideas, promotions and current food and beverage trends.
• Ensure full compliance with health and safety, fire safety, licensing and food hygiene legislation.

The ideal candidate:

• Has previous supervisory or management experience within a quality hotel bar, lounge or high-end hospitality setting.
• Brings a hands-on leadership style, excellent attention to detail and a passion for food and beverage.
• Is standards-driven, commercially aware and confident managing a busy operation.
• Has strong people-management, communication and customer-service skills.
• Has knowledge of current beverage trends and a flair for creating an engaging guest experience.
