Daly Recruitment is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager for an esteemed luxury hotel in the heart of County Down.

In this prestigious role, you will be responsible for overseeing the seamless operation of the hotel’s main restaurant, collaborating closely with the Head Chef and your team to ensure an exceptional dining experience.

Reporting into the Director of Operations, you will be hands-on, committed to delivering an unforgettable, personalised service that exceeds expectations. A true team player, you will thrive in fostering strong relationships with both internal colleagues and external guests, elevating the overall guest experience to new heights.


THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the fine dining restaurant, ensuring its smooth running and exceptional service.
  • Ensure the upkeep and cleanliness of all restaurant and public areas, including cash handling and security protocols.
  • Take full financial responsibility for the department, actively monitoring wage costs, conversion rates, and any other key performance indicators (KPIs) set by senior management.
  • Manage the guest experience by maintaining high service standards and controlling the ambiance throughout service.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the team, ensuring consistent, outstanding service for all guests.
  • Forecast payroll and revenue on a monthly basis to ensure accurate financial planning.
  • Monitor and control direct costs associated with the restaurant, optimising profitability.
  • Serve as a key member of the senior management team, contributing to strategic decisions.
  • Maintain a relentless focus on delivering consistently high standards of customer service.
  • Regularly assess and refine service standards and procedures, implementing necessary improvements.
  • Ensure the restaurant area is always clean, organised, and well-maintained through ongoing monitoring and staff training.
  • Strictly enforce hygiene, health, and safety regulations, ensuring compliance by both staff and guests at all times.

MUST HAVE:

  • Previous experience in high end restaurant or similar environment.
  • Experience in a Leadership role in the Food & Beverage industry ·
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
