Hotel Deputy General Manager

Daly Recruitment is working on behalf of our client to recruit a Deputy Hotel General Manager (DGM) for a deluxe 4 star property based in Dublin.  This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Operations Manager seeking to make their first DGM role, or an experienced DGM already within the 4+ star market.

Reporting into the General Manager, you be responsible for:

• Managing the overall day to day operations of the hotel.
• Meeting projected financial targets.
• Managing and developing a strong customer focused team.
• Enhancing customer satisfaction.
• Ensuring all aspects of operations are in place, adhering to company standards of the property at all times.
• Implementing new ideas with senior management to generate new revenue streams.

Skills/Requirements:

• Strong hotel management experience in 4+ star market. (3-4 years)
• Evidence of achieving results and making change happen through leadership and influence of a team.
• Strong financial acumen
• Strong food and beverage background
• The capability to contribute to the wider strategic development of the hotel.
• Passionate, with a hands-on approach
• Has a personal commitment to hospitality, customer service & quality.
• Be very customer focused.
• Good staff management skills
• To act up as General Manager in absence of GM.

Must have: 

• At least 2/3  years previous experience as an Operations Manager or at least 1 year DGM position within a 4 star+ property.
• Strong food and beverage background.
• Excellent financial acumen
• A passion for delivery high end service and standards.
