Hotel Group Sales Manager

Daly Recruitment is seeking to appoint an experienced Group Sales Manager for one of our luxury clients based in Ireland. Reporting directly into the General Managers the successful candidate must have previous experience within a similar role, and demonstrate a strong passion and understanding of the high end  & corporate markets.
This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with previous Sales Management experience within the 4/5 star market.

Candidate must:

• Be currently in a hotel sales management role within the 4/5 star hotel market (at least one year).
• Have a knowledge and understanding of MICE & tour operator markets.
• Identify business opportunities and convert into revenue.
• Have the ability to bring new ideas to the team.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and attitude for customer service and creating memorable events/stays for clients.
• Have a high level of business acumen and sales skills.
• Have the ability to effectively represent the property at trade shows on local, national and international where required.
• Demonstrate strong communication and listening skills, excellent speaking, reading and writing.
• Have the ability to market all aspects of the property to increase revenue.
• Ability to work and communicate with all heads of department to deliver effective and smooth events/group bookings.
• Must be able to conduct show rounds for weddings, corporate markets, tourism representatives and FAM groups.
• Ability to effectively pitch and present information in one-on-one and group situations to media, customers, clients, partners and other employees of the organisation.
• Be knowledgeable and aware of competitor market.
• Be able to demonstrate confidence to target new clients and the ability to use their own initiative.

Additional information:
– Business travel will be required for this role.
– Must have a full drivers license and access to car.
